If your week isn’t complete without getting your nails did, but you’re no longer keen on spending hundreds of dollars on a professionally-done manicure, you’re in for a treat. We’re listing down super easy (and fun) manicure hack you can do at home!
1. Chevron Stripes
Who doesn’t love Chevron stripes on the digits? It’s so trendy and surprisingly easy to do! Just grab two nail colors (we recommend pastel colors because they’re so pretty!), a clear topcoat nail polish, sticky labels, a ruler and pen as well as a pair of scissors.
Start by painting your nails with one of the nail color of your choice as your base and let it dry completely. Ideally, you want to dry the nails overnight but a couple of hours is great too!
Next, start creating Chevron pattern on the sticky label. You can decide the thickness of every stripe. Use a ruler so all lines is completely straight. Carefully cut the pattern, one for each nail. Stick the pattern on your now-dry digits. Paint your nails with the second color of your choice over the pattern you just placed.
Gently peel off the sticky label while the nail color is still wet. You can either use a tweezer to peel off the pattern or just your hands, either way, make sure you peel gently so the still-wet nail color won’t stray away and ruin the clean lines! Finish off with a clear top coat and voila, a lovely Chevron stripped nails!
