2. 90s Style Grunge Mani

Missed the 90s and can’t let go? Why not commemorate one of the most unforgettable decades in fashion through your nails? You’ll need two nail color of your choice, a clear top coat, plastic wrap, a q-tip or a small paint brush and a nail polish remover. For the nail polishes, we recommend using contrasting colors so the patterns will really show up even from afar. The 90s is all about making a statement, after all.

To start, paint your nail with one of the two nail polish as your base. Let the nails dry completely. Again, we recommend trying them out overnight but a couple of hours of drying time is fine too.

Once your nails are really dry, crumple a piece of plastic wrap in a tiny ball. With the second nail polish color as your accent color, paint the wrinkled surface of the plastic. Don’t paint the surface completely, just paint in places.

Now start pressing the plastic ball on your nails several times on each nail. Add more paint on the plastic ball if needed. You can remove any stray colors with a q-tip dipped in nail polish remover. Once you’re done stamping the accent color, give it a few minutes to dry the surface of the patter. And then, finish off your grunge-style nail art with a clear top coat!
