A diet rich in chilies and other hot spices may actually prove to help your general health. It may also save you from life-threatening illnesses. A daily dose of chili peppers can help lower your blood pressure and cholesterol levels. It can also improve your cardiovascular health and increase your blood circulation. It has also been proven to increase metabolic rates which help in losing weight. It also improves the immune system and prevents you from getting colds and fever. Chilies also have anti-inflammatory properties and are packed with vitamin A, C, beta-carotene, and other antioxidants.

3. Turmeric

Turmeric may look like ginger but it’s even better. This exotic spice has a golden yellow color and has a slight peppery, ginger taste. This wonderful spice is used in Indian, Asian and even African dishes but besides being used in many dishes, this spice offers more benefits than you ever know. Turmeric is known for its anti-inflammatory properties. It is also boosts the immune system but it is especially known for preventing Type 2 diabetes. Besides that, turmeric also aids in weight loss, arthritis and can even prevent the risk of having Alzheimer’s disease. It is also used as pesticides, preservatives and in India, women use this spice as a cream and facial scrub.
