2. Parvovirus

parvovirus or simply called as parvo is a condition that happens to usually to puppies 6 to 20 weeks old. Most of the time, breeds like Doberman Pinschers and Rottweilers are more prone to this illness. Signs and symptoms among these breeds are usually rapid but as to why are still unknown. If a dog or puppy suffers parvo, signs and symptoms like vomiting and diarrhea are often present. Dogs may also lose their appetite and shows sign of depression. If the dog is having diarrhea, it is usually profuse and contains mucus or blood. Dehydration may also follow right away. If this is not treated immediately within 48 to 72 hours, dogs may die.
